Installation of Haiku Fans

The Haiku fans were delivered yesterday. Although the plaster ceiling was not fully completed, the installations of 2 fans were done. No choice cos delivery of the fans must be  done within this year I purchased the fans during Homedec 2010. I told my ID that the fans were to be delivered on that day and asked her to ensure the ceiling was ready but unfortunately it was not. 

Hoping that the fans will not be damaged in any way during the plastering of the ceiling. I've actually requested numerous times that the ceiling be completed first but my ID didn't manage to do it. Anyway, am loving the sleek and modern design of the fans.

Karlsson Clock

Decided to go clock shopping on Christmas day. We had trouble finding a parking spot at Pavillion KL due to the holiday madness but it was worth it cos we found a clock that both of us liked very much!

I've researched online and found out that Molecule stocks Karlsson clocks. Karlsson is a renowned Dutch clock brand with a team of creative designers.

Our 'love at first sight' : Karlsson Station Numbers Hologram Clock in White.

Retail price : RM336 but Molecule is having a sale and the clock is on 15% discount = RM285. It's named as such for its similarity to station clocks found in Europe. This polished steel clock encorporates holographic numbers floating over the top of the hour markers. The the Station Numbers Hologram clock was designed by Dutch designers Ruben van Boxtel & Reinier Buijs for Karlsson. Depending on the angle you view it from, the face either shows simple hash marks or numerals around the dial. Size is 30cm in diameter. I hope it would look great in the living room or dining room or kitchen!

Hacking Tiles

These are the bags of broken tiles from the hacking. Took 1 full day for the hacking.

 The following day, the walls were screened. Painting will commence very soon.

Plaster Ceiling Progress

The plaster slabs are now up! More plaster added to conceal the seams. Looks like the plaster ceiling will be completed very soon. Once done, the built-ins will be installed.

M&E works

The electrician has just started the M&E works. Everything is moving at a very slow pace. Hopefully all will be completed by year end.

The Panton Chair

Booked our dining table : Planet White by Calligaris at XZQT (1U) last week but still quite undecided on the dining chairs..... that is until we sat on the Panton chair.

The iconic Panton chair matches the Planet White dining table perfectly. We will be getting it from Space Furniture, Bangsar. Promo on now : RM1360 for 2 Panton chairs. Tried it and it was really comfy. Designed by Vernon Panton in 1959 and constructed by Vitra from a single piece of plastic. Available in a myriad of colors but we will just go for the ever popular white.
